Designer Profile - Chronicles of Never

The hottest label on everyone’s lips at the moment is Chronicles of Never. Whilst being a relatively new label on the scene, designer Gareth Moody is no stranger to the world of fashion being a founding member of well known label Ksubi (ex Tsubi). Based in Sydney, and with a showroom in the infamous China Heights, Chronicles of Never is taking the world by storm, and has been featured in many of the top fashion magazines.
The range of unisex jewellery and mens line of tees has a distinctive industrial and haunting feel, which is a welcome diversion from the bright 80s inspired prints that we have grown so fond of in recent times.
Be sure to check out the Cubist and Neo pendants. And we are loving The Time Is Now tees in both charcoal and white. With limited quantities in stock, you had better be quick if you want to score yourself (or somebody you love) a piece by Chronicles of Never.

The Pitbull Mansion crew were very excited to get the latest arrivals from Claude Maus. This label is HOT!!! This no fuss, directional label is making waves worldwide for their fantastic denim, and quality cuts. For the girls we have been drooling over the grey marle smock dress in 100% merino wool, and also the very cute lumber pintuck shirt in this seasons check pattern. For the guys there is the luxurious merino wool Noose Jumper in grey marle, and the Nous Irons tee also in grey marle (Are you sensing our love for grey marle this winter?)

Designer Profile - Nique

Melbourne label Nique has long been a favourite of mine with their affordable yet distinctive style. Birthed out of a design studio in the loft of a West Melbourne warehouse, Nick and Lucy Ennis have built a brand that reflects a lifestyle and a culture. Check out the winter must have for the girls – a classic ivory trench coat! And for the guys there is the black ice bomber jacket that goes with everything! I am also loving the bird print tee for the girls in grey marle, and the Le Nique Wolves tee for the guys.

Sydney label Thousand Reasons have been spreading their love around Australia in the form of cheeky slogans, unique cuts, and daring prints. And your underwear collection is not complete without a pair of their great fitting “boy leg” briefs in styles for both the guys and the girls, in their trademark rooster print. I am excited to introduce to you Perth based label Bim Kenesis, from designer Bree Kiddey. When I came across her MySpace site I immediately fell in love with her fresh designs. With a vibrant colour palette and eye-popping prints, this emerging talent is one to watch out for! The above pictured pieces are from her Autumn/Winter 07 collection called “The Nightouts”, and will be arriving at Pitbull Mansion HQ this February.
